projectx1991
Hi, Is there any way to code or hack the game to add your own music it (playing at its full length - not the length of the RCT2 music files) just like it is in RCT3? Or even add in custom scenery of speakers as audio objects to have area audio? I'm playing OpenRCT2 on my Mac and I tried a music manager app but I wasn't sure on it's features etc, plus it is exe so I couldn't extract and use it on my Mac. Thanks! Link to comment
X7123M3-256
The game (like vanilla) supports up to two custom music files, which should be saved in .WAV format, and saved in your RCT2 data folder as CUSTOM1.wav and CUSTOM2.wav. I don't think OpenRCT2 extends this functionality beyond what was present in RCT2, but I don't see why you couldn't do that if you wanted. If you want music files to be custom objects, that would require a new object file format. 1 Link to comment
imlegos
Pretty sure he's just wanting more then 2 customs. Like how with RCT3 you could put litterally every song in existance into the game, not that anyone's actually tried this though. Link to comment
YoloSweggLord
I'm 95% sure the limit exists for the same reason every other in-game limit exists: the save file forma can't distinguish between more than a certain number of songs. 1 Link to comment
projectx1991
Ahh ok, well - it's not too much of a need and thanks for the explanation! Link to comment
