  1. Guests will complain they're lost if they can't find the ride within a certain time. For large parks, the time it takes to reach to reach a ride on the other side of the park is always longer than their time limit. Guests also don't care about the distance when picking a ride, which means they will spend more time walking in larger parks, simply because they choose to do so. There is only one case where guests care about the distance to a ride's entrance, and that is when it has chosen to go on a ride with multiple entrances.
  2. As you can see in your screenshots, the tilting and banking don't exactly match. It would therefore require a new, shortened corkscrew piece to exist alongside the current corkscrews (deforming the current corkscrew piece would look weird for full corkscrews). There are other new track pieces that are currently being worked on, so maybe once those are complete...

  4. Not that I know of. It has been requested: #15343
  5. You can select them all (as long as you don't have tooo many objects), it just takes some time. For faster selection, enable 'non-selected only' in the filters.
  6. Did it happen after updating OpenRCT2? If so, you like have a mixed install (with files that were meant for an older version of OpenRCT2). Please uninstall OpenRCT2 (don't delete your documents folder!) and install it again.
  7. It's in the maintenance tab of a ride and looks like the build button. If that doesn't help, please include a screenshot of where you get stuck and make sure you're on version v0.4.x or later.
  8. You can already play pacman while playing OpenRCT2 by playing pacman in another window, or even on another device. Feel free to make the plugin though, someone already did minesweeper as a plugin so I suppose it's possible.
  9. This page describes how to use RCTC with OpenRCT2 (you do not need the minigame, but it is recommended if you use RCTC instead of RCT2). Step 7 tells you what to do when opening OpenRCT2 for the first time.
  10. If you do not use the launcher, you'll have to manually download and install a new build every time you want to update.
  11. It is possible, but requires a bit more manual work, see this wiki page (more info here). Also note that while RCT Classic is advertised as RCT1+2, it is really just only RCT2 (with expansions) with extra scenarios. You still need RCT1 to access some minor RCT1 features of OpenRCT2.
  12. IIRC, shockwave is already included in the official SFMM scenario. You can change the ride type by enabling the arbitrary ride type changes cheat.
  13. According to this GH issue and the PR created for it, it should be fixed soon: #17553
  14. Attached is a list of all 791 objects that (I think) belong to vanilla RCT2 so you can more easily pinpoint the missing objects. There's also an official list of OpenRCT2 objects with the names of their corresponding RCT2 objects HERE, but those follow the current OpenRCT2 structure and may include new stuff (like split paths/railings). summary.txt
  15. There are now 3 consecutive topics with the exact same name (bar exclamation marks). Please try to be a bit more descriptive so we can search the topic list more easily (or create a single topic and post all your parks in there, as most of them are quite similar in style).
  16. Ported to GitHub #17540 so more devs can see this.
  17. My RCT2 object folder has 3626 files in it, of which about 1/3rd are custom objects (selected by date). That's still 2000+ objects for RCT2 with all expansions. Selecting only the first date (and thus likely only vanilla RCT2 objects) yields 791 objects. Given that, by the looks of it, you're missing about half the objects, that sounds about right.
  18. You need the title sequence editor plugin for that. Then you can 'edit' the title sequence and load the parks in it.
  19. Maybe I forgot to mention that it has recently changed to only show in red when penalties apply. See #16915
  20. The idea is that stats only show up in red if it inflicts a rating penalty. Positive vertical Gs never incur a penalty, so they won't show up in red, ever. Though it makes sense that stats only get red if it becomes problematic, maybe having insane vertical Gs never giving a penalty was the problem.
  21. OpenRCT2 already supports custom objects, so go ahead and create it if you really want it.
  22. With cheats, you can merge different ride types, similar to how the looping on Son of Beast was just a steel looping on a wooden rollercoaster. Consider doing that instead.
  23. No, currently not. Please check whether you really need the land to be that high, as it can already be raised quite high (turn on heightmarkers to see if the height still makes sense). If the answer is still yes, it might be possible somewhere in the future, as limits are sometimes being raised. For now, you just have to find another way to do the same concept (you might be able to skip the lower parts of the mountain without attractions).
  24. Click+hold the golden shovel (enabled by enabling the cheats top toolbar button in the options) and find the scenario settings. There you can change the guest payment option.
