The orange is fine if you'd ask me. Please do change the single-wide temporary path to a real one that fits your area and the surroundings.

@Wuis you could leaf the path connection to other people if you want, but a temporary path won't hurt (hopefully). Just make sure you build a great station and everything will be fine.
  4. Those are all well-designed coasters that don't take up too much room in a park. GJ on that. However, they don't stand out. They are compact, but not super compact. The design is good, but not extraordinary. And if you want the coasters to look great, you'll need scenery. So decide for yourself what you want to do next (small footprint, great ratings, good looks or a mix of these) and keep trying. I've been pushing myself to the limit with coasters on tiny footprints and built over a hundred coasters already (link). I'm pretty sure you'll manage to build great stuff soon, just don't give up (I'll start the next compact coaster contest soon, I'm pretty sure you'll like that).

That's better indeed. It's probably still too big (also counting the practically unusable tiles at the side of it), but I can live with that. I hope someone manages to properly add something on the tiles Wuis reclaimed from the wire it to save aome space I want to build the last monorail station (if it hasn't been done by someone else by that time)
  6. Please, no. Copied from another forum (and modified the names in it): Forum games are a fun way to engage the community. "The community" being a plurality of forum visitors - not only one or two bored posters having a discourse in a thread with little or no relevance to all other community members. Bear in mind that the primary purpose of the forums is a place for discussion of OpenRCT2. To this extent, the small talk and offtopic board and topics here are mostly to keep other boards on-topic and not to encourage frequent posting and activity to drive posting solely for the purposes of posting (and increasing post counts or forum bandwidth). All other forms of frequent posting both here and in other forums are also discouraged. Please think about what you have to say, say it once and wait for others to follow up. There is no need to repeatedly state the same content in multiple posts.

Way too big according to the rules listed on the first page. Note that the red/yellow squares are 5x5. You're using about 120x20=2400 out of 900 tiles. If you want it to be 150 tiles long, make it 6 tiles wide and put it at the edge of the map. We can't revert the edits one player made and let someone else get away with it, sorry. If you're still going for a huge hyper coaster, make sure you change the terrain, let it go through tunnels/valleys and over hills and such. That makes it easier for others to create a varied landscape.

Ok, failed to build what I wanted (will try again in the next group park), so I removed it and tried to finish monster jam, which didn't work out as good as I hoped. I couldn't remember which colors I wanted to use for the last part, so I just guessed blue. It probably was something else. Feel free to massively improve what I've built today, as I'm just not happy with it now. Added some toilets in the castle. Fixed some pathing issues. Merged two shortcuts serving the same purpose near cruise. Spotted a tunnel underneath tribal that could have been built around tribal as well. Added bins/benches/lamps (in case anyone is going to use the expanded rendering). 9. Granted, but a bird flies above it and ruins the taste. I wish I was in six flags magic mountain right now.
  10. In sandbox mode, the map window has all the functions it has in the scenario editor. There you can change the map size back to what it should be.

It was at the point where guests walked from the queue into the entrance hut. There was indeed a path underneath it that didn't have any function. I've also removed another ugly path built with no clearance checks. Please try to avoid disabling clearance checks and load an earlier save whenever you mess up. Note that instead of adding a shortcut path, modifying existing paths can sometimes work much better. Look at the pathing issue I posted an image for, removing one piece of path fixed it all.

There seems to be a strange bug with rusty road. Every guest that tries to enter gets teleported to somewhere else...

Do you have any time later this week @Wuis? If not you can claim it for today edit: Skip that, already started working...
  14. Using sandbox mode you can edit all parts of your park. You must have cheats enabled in the options to use sandbox mode. The curroptions shouldn't happen though, nor should the banking buttons be available on the suspended swinging coaster (that element wasn't available in vanilla).

  16. I asked it for debugging purposes, it may or may not have something to do with that option. So if the behavious changes when toggling that option, it would be easier for the devs to track down the issue. I don't expect the issue to be suddenly 'fixed' when changing it (it may do, but then it's still a bug that needs to be fixed).
  17. For now the solution is simple: don't post a lot of images and only if they add something to the discussion. The forum already allows resizing them manually, but only for the poster. Not saying I don't support spoilers being added.
  18. To put it clear: it has been reported before, but not explicitly on the official issue tracker (unless I missed it too). @BlazingEmpireHD did you have 'Select rides by track type (RCT1 style)' enabled?
  19. Granted, you won less than what you paid. I wish a private jet would be given to me for free.

I won't have enough time today/tomorrow, so I'll claim it on sunday (or whenever it's available). Claimed: - Queue: @cascadia, Wuis, Yimmy, RedScope53, WobblyRails, Dan, Broxzier, ziscor Missed: imlegos, SuperVarken, Philmon11, jensj12
  21. Granted, OpenRCT2 will be the greatest game. I wish I could play OpenRCT2 forever.

For some extra exitement you could try to let the monorail go through it...

Once this park is done we can edit/redo the parts made with WW/TT/custom objects. That will make it a good title sequence park. It also has enough properly used OpenRCT2-only features to showcase (think of the entrance hut of fly away and world tour).
  24. There are 4 extra (faster) game speeds in the game (the fastest speed makes 2 years pass every minute, which should be more than enough). The last one is already faster than my gaming laptop can handle in a large park. To check, enable the fps counter in the options menu, change the game speed and watch it drop below 40. I'd like to see a screenshot at the fastest speed with 40 fps on the six flags magic mountain scenario (mine drops to 12 there, and down to 5 on the second group park). Or even better, disable the fps limit to see if there's room for improvement.
