*****EDIT -> Why is it telling me " You have reached the maximum number of posts you can make per day. " I should be able to make more than 1 post per day... I can on every other forum I am a member of*******

I will not attempt to answer your main question as I am still new here as well, someone will help you soon.

However, you are limited to one post in the first 24 hours of your first post on this forum, I am sure is to prevent spam.

  2. Escape @ Six Flags Magic Mountain

    Let me be perfectly clear.
I did NOT create this RCT track and I am NOT taking credit for it in any way.

What I did is reverse engineer it, so it is easier to place into your game complete with the scenery as it was originally designed.
I also identified the scenery objects so that you can make sure they are in your scenario.

All additional info is in the Read ME.txt

    Downlink below.

    Enjoy

  3. Many of the pre-maid coasters available, there is a discloser at the bottom of the picture window.

(Design Includes Scenery Which Is Unavailable)

(Vehicle Design Unavailable - Ride Performance May Be Affected)

Is there a way to see what is required to view these rides in the manner that the designer intended?

Sometimes it is good to learn other's techniques.

    Thanks,

    Dave

  4. I am not sure if this is a bug or not.

I have found that you can rotate the entrance/exit huts using the Tile Inspector.

If I save the game, the huts are kept and remain rotated.

However, if you save just the track with scenery, the huts are not saved at all as they are when not rotated.

Is this the way it should be or am I doing something wrong?

You won't find them in the vanilla ObjData folder because entrance objects didn't exist in vanilla. You need to look at the JSON object files instead. Where these are located on your machine may vary, but you can view them all on Github. The sprites can be found in g1.dat - I believe you can use OpenRCT2 to extract these into PNG files if you want to use them as a reference for your custom object.

I have looked at GitHub and I realize that it is way above me. :(

    Thanks for your help, :)

  6. Has anyone made a custom ride entrance/exit?

I am looking for one with a FLAT roof.

Hight is an issue for my project and "No Entrance" option recognizes the entrance/exit is still there, you just can't see it.

The other alternative would an editor for objects and I could try to do it myself.

However, I don't even know where to find them in the object files.

    Thanks,

    Dave

  7. I noticed in the cheats that you can make chain lifts on all track pieces.

Wouldn't it be better to develop "Wheel Drives"?

We all know that chains do not go around corners however wheel drives can.

Wheel drives are used on modern coasters.

This is just a thought, I am not a developer, maybe it can't be done.

It would be nice and with adjustable drive speeds, we could make some more exciting coasters.

  8. Can I keep the most stable build and the latest development build on the same computer?

I still like to play the game but I want to see what's coming/test as well.

    Thanks,

    Dave
