  1. Hi all, So I've begun an attempt to legitimately complete all scenarios in no specific order, and my most recent effort was the infamous Big Pier. "To have at least 1,200 guests in your pack at the end of October, Year 2, with a park rating of at least 600." The furthest I've managed to get was 387 guests by the 21st of May, Year 2, and at the rate I'm gaining them there's no possible way I can get 1,200. I'll provide screenshots of the park below, which is amateur compared to most other builders I've seen, but I want to ask: Is the park goal supposed to be 1,200? In the pre-OpenRCT2, Big/Paradise Pier only required 600 guests by the end of Year 2, not 1,200. The only scenario to have this goal is "Paradise Pier 2", which isn't in OpenRCT2. So either I'm doing something horribly wrong or the scenario objectives are not optimized properly for the park design. There's only so much I can do here and building over water gets expensive rather quickly, and with a loan of only $20,000 I find myself not being able to do anything for weeks at a time whilst waiting for income. Trinity Islands I also had similar issues with, but with a few flukes I was able to scrape together the objective after three attempts. (1,250 guests by end of Year 3, as opposed to 750 - but far more achievable due to park size & layout etc.) Could someone enlighten me here? Thanks a bunch! 😁❤️
  2. Hi all, I know it's after Christmas (I wanted to get this up beforehand, I really did), but I'd made a little makeshift Christmas-themed Scenario to help get into the festive spirit. It's nothing too fancy or too developed, so obviously there's a lot of room for improvement of your own choice. Either way, the Scenery is Christmas-themed, the rides are generally Christmas-themed (what with the expansion and all - I'll get to that in a minute... ), and the Scenario itself is supposed to be set in the North Pole. Either way I hope you can find some value out of it. If you're coming here from my YouTube Christmas Special, then continue on and download it for yourself to try out! If you want you can send me messages/reply to this message on here with screenshots of your progress. See if you made more than I did in an hour! Other than that, Merry Christmas everyone and have a very Happy New Year. I hope the last couple of days have been full of joy, festivity and giving. **This Scenario does use expansions from (I believe) Time Twister and Wacky Worlds. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you'll need both of them in order to play the Scenario with no issues. Either way, I've tested it on both versions of RCT2 (the original base version and the Open one) and the Scenario works fine, so having OpenRCT2 isn't of course necessary. Description: "You've been sent to one of the most pivotal areas of the North Pole: Santa's Workshop. The mysterious big man himself has personally requested that you bring some more 'life' into the area by any means necessary. (Made by cjhrjone[54])" Objective: To have at least 2,200 guests in your park. You must not let the park rating drop below 700 at any time! An RCT Christmas 2016.sc6
  3. Hi all, I'm not sure if I am in fact posting this in the right area, since the error message told me to file it under OpenRCT2 on "GetHulk" or something? I couldn't actually see the error message properly because it was blocked by the crashed screen, but anyway... I tried loading up one of my Landscapes to edit some minor details, but the game just crashed on me. It occurred after I'd entered the Scenario Editor and then attempted to load said Landscape, resulting in a crash, the nearly unreadable error message, and a dump file creation (which I'll attach to this message). I was, however, able to access a different Landscape, and from that Landscape I was actually able to load the one I was trying to load previously. The Landscape I was originally trying to load does use some Scenery/Theming from some expansions, so maybe there was some conflict or something being generated. This error occurred after the game automatically updated to the most recent build or version (using the OpenRCT2 Launcher), and the Landscape loaded fine before that. I've attached the original dump file and the SV6 to the message. Hope this helps! Cheers, Lachie 39420af8-a257-4f98-8127-7bb3ff8110c6(a05557c_x86).dmp 39420af8-a257-4f98-8127-7bb3ff8110c6.sv6 *Edit: I should note that everything else seems to work fine for the moment. It's only this Landscape loading that's the problem, but that's not to say I can't work around it.
